Tekika Artist Reveal - Event #1 Wrap

| What is Tekika? Tekika is a gamified, PFP NFT Airdrop Campaign for the new K2-18 gaming sidechain token launch.

On February 17th, Telos Network hosted an unforgettable gathering at Toronto’s Goat Gallery where we unveiled the renowned artist leading the Tekika collection, Mute.

The event was a reflection of the world of Tekika. The digital art gallery transformed into an underground cavern, lit by blue light and showcasing Mute’s curated work.

Born and raised in Peru, Mute is a renowned illustrator and creative director. His work has gained global recognition, exhibited in countries including Germany (Poptales at Fata Morgana Gallery in 2017 as part of Pictoplasma Festival), Japan (GalleryIYN, 2023), Ecuador (Jungle Groove, 2017), and Dubai (IGN Festival, 2017).

Since 2020, his interest in Web3 and crypto led him to the NFT realm. His debut project, Bitcoin Origins, depicted Bitcoin's story through 70+ trading cards, finding success on the Wax Blockchain during the 2020 NFT boom. He later led the art for Rebel Rabbits, a spin-off featuring characters from Bitcoin Origins and a comic book.

Now, as the lead artist for Tekika, Mute endeavors to craft a vibrant cyberpunk universe. The gallery dedicated itself to exploring his characters and experiencing the different worlds he has created from his own imagination.

Spanning more than 15 screens, a carefully curated selection of Mute’s work, Tekika teasers, and sneak peeks glowed. But the Tekika Artist Reveal was a complete immersive journey. Branded elements adorned the space, weaving a narrative that teased the imagination and hinted at the wonders to come. The exclusive DRIP cocktail, with its shimmering allure and otherworldly glow, transported guests to a realm of mystery and excitement while the hosts seamlessly wove in Tekika lore, setting the stage for the main event. 

At 9:30 p.m., the moment arrived – Mute himself, calling in from Peru via livestream, greeted the eager audience. Telos' CMO, Peter Nguyen, led a heartfelt exchange, delving into Mute's inspirations, aspirations, and the profound personal connection imbued in his art. This was the first ever Tekika Artist Meet and Greet the guest feedback was that this intimate occasion only served to increase their personal connection to the artist himself, his previous work, and the upcoming Tekika collection. 

The excitement peaked at 9:45 p.m. with the highly anticipated raffle draw, offering highly desirable prize packs:

As the night drew to a close, the DJ transformed the atmosphere into a dance and network party where connections and memories were made, while the spirit of Tekika left guests with the sense of belonging to something truly extraordinary.
